Exactly... you needed to scroll down in some of the setup procedures to keep it from defaulting certain things. I've installed it on many machines here with no problems.Originally posted by: thomsbrain

They are a bit sneaky, but if you do it right, you're problem free. That's the only thing Real has going against them... the player is solid and never crashes.

NO, I'm not joking. It has never crashed on me. Not through the earlier versions and not with RealPlayer One. Quicktime is a different story...Originally posted by: GoodToGo

I seriously hope that you are joking. I have had Real Player crash on me countless times on many machines for no reason whatsoever. Oh wait, the reason was that it had to auto update itself:disgust:![]()
My fault. I read it as you "telling" the program not to install certain things, but it apparently did. Anyway,... no need to yell a question out... with !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😉Originally posted by: SSP

There was a thread here a few months back that allowed a special version of Windows Media Player (called WMP classic) that plays them. It was AKA "unReal Player". Works quite well. I have the install files if you want them. My nonsubscribing-a$$ can't do a search good enough to find the thread.Originally posted by: Stifko
