Those hosts are just annoying, they aren't clever, they aren't funny, and I just don't care about anything they say.

Who likes this show?
 
Tiff is an amazing driver. Plato is a douche. Skinny kid needs to get stabbed. The girl in that show should go make us all sandwiches...
 
I like Tiff's comparison videos on Youtube for drive or evotv or whatever it is. That's all I like about Fifth Gear.
 
Is Tiff that old bastard? I think it's a toss up between him and the broad for which one I hate most of all.

I watched an episode tonight where the geezer and some other bloke drove two hot hatches between cones forward and then backward at low speed to determine which was best. Talk about a completely useless comparison. 🙄 If it was at least a slight bit funny or entertaining I probably wouldn't have posted this thread... but it wasn't. And then the broad drove a Ferrari around and made strange noises while sliding it through corners. That wasn't very entertaining either. Maybe if she said something witty, or if her blouse buttons popped open and her tits fell out it might have been worthwhile. But she didn't and they didn't.

So, much like Top Gear America, I probably won't ever watch this show again.

Yeah, Tiff's the old guy, but I don't like him on Fifth Gear. Just the youtube vids he does.

I don't hate the show overall, though I do usually fast-forward through a lot of it. They seem to have good production values and test some cool stuff so I do think it's worth checking out. Tiff is great and while Plato is definitely an asswipe, he can drive. It's still worlds better than Top Gear USA.
 
I'll watch any car show that actually focuses on cars.
I even like Motorweek.
The "Gags and supercars" formula got old for me.
If they test out normal cars I'll sit through annoying voices and cheesy jokes
 
The hosts always seem to be making weird faces while driving. Plus the program is fairly mediocre. They drive good cars but somehow end up making everything 'boring'.
I'd watch it again if I had nothing to do and if there wasn't anything else interesting on tv.

They need to get rid of the host of that show. He has no personality at all and his delivery is really bland. It would be better if they got someone like Tommy Kendall or Matt Farah to review the cars.
 
I don't like the show very much. Tiff and plato can drove so they are ok. The others are a waste of time.

Chris Harris's 10mins a week on drive trumps anything they have ever put on.

Motorweek is his show.
Get rid of him and pat goss and you have no motorweek.
I remember adjusting rabbit ears on the TV to watch Motorweek.
Holy crap...I think I started watching that show back in 1983. John Davis and Pat Goss probably contributed to me loving cars (and fixing them myself)

John Davis' voice just makes me insane. I find it so annoying that I have to dive for the remote when a commercial for MotorWeek comes on. It feels as though he is so plain-vanilla that he has to try too hard to inject a little emotion into his delivery. I absolutely can't stand that guy.
 
My wife hates Pat Goss with a passion. He does come across as being condescending fairly often. Oh well. I too have been watching that show since the late 80's.

I don't mind Fifth Gear. Tiff is great and I like Johnny. He's quirky in an amusing way. Plato is like the British Tanner Foust; full of himself. Vicki is OK...the squealing gets a little old but at least you can see she's having fun.
