Eudora is better than Outlook Express. You can cripple the preview window so it doesn't use IE for rendering, making it much, much safer than OE.

Yep, that's the main reason I've stuck with Eudora. Nothing gets opened that you don't want opened.

Outlook Express is garbage. Outlook is rox. Eudora is satan's mail client.

And we're using v6.2

Eudora is fine for a single user but on a large roamingprofile environment it fvcking sucks.

That's half the problem - we don't actually have roaming profiles implemented. But we do have activedirectory serving up the logins. Every time you load Eudora on these rigs, you have to mount your personal network share (by way of a piece of custom software that launches eudora for you). And before you get on the custom software - it's flawless. By the time any of the errors come about, it's already dropped out of memory and is completely inconsequential. It's only used to point eudora at it's data files.

Other things I hate supporting: Windows CD Burning Wizard. It's incompatible with CDRWs that were initialized with other programs. People don't like when I tell them that.

And people also hate it when I tell them that their floppy disk is corrupted.
