CLIFFS:
1. Friday morning: My roommate and I go to local Comcast office, have account "transferred".
2. I get home after work. Internet connection doesn't work.
3. Almost a dozen Comcast reps are clueless and unable to get my connection working again on the phone. They tell me I have to go back to my local office, which is closed until next week. (why why why?). Somewhere in the process they tell me I need to get a new modem, which still doesn't work.
4. Finally on Monday afternoon at the local office they give me a different phone number to call. At last this rep is able to get me back online.
So, 3+ days of no access and hours wasted trying to get them to do something very simple that we made very clear. Something people must do EVERY DAY.
Actually, why not just leave it at the cliff's. No need to foam at the mouth here.
I'd have already dumped them for Bellsouth DSL if one day that truck hadn't snapped the phone line going to the house. We're all college kids with cell phones and didn't care at the time.
