I had Panda Express today

Went through the drive through, I was sitting in my truck eating in the parking lot. Some dude next to me was eating in his vehicle and using chopsticks, I cant use those stupid things, fork > chopsticks. How many of you are chopstick efficient? :awe:

i love me some panda express. i'd rather eat there than pf changs. but my favorite is pei wei, which is the "faster food" version of pf chang.

and this is for "fake" chinese food of course.

I'm efficient, but I seldom use them. Aside from being less efficient than forks/spoons, I feel kind of pretentious using them.

The reduced efficiency might be good for portion control though. Slow people down, and they might not eat as much. I decided the other day I'm mostly gonna buy nuts in the shell. I eat too many of the things when I can just shovel them in from a can. Having to shell them slows me down, and I don't eat as many. Now if only they could make smoked almonds in the shell...

When I would go to a restaurant in South Korea I was always given a fork. I guess they think that foreigners suck at chopsticks.

I'm pretty good at using chopsticks.. can grab a single grain of rice. 😱 I do get the white person = fork treatment a lot though.

As for Pei Wei.. I think I had it once in college. Haven't seen any up in the Bay Area though. Wasn't bad. I prefer a couple other local places over PF Changs, Panda Express, etc. though for the same price.

they do have forks. im going there tomorrow for lunch and will be eating with a fork. they also have unlimited fortune cookies.

Dude, I almost forgot my fortune cookie today and threw the bag away. I got it though and it had 2 cookies in a single bag, that has to be good luck in the Chinese culture, of course with my luck its bad luck.

They sell Izze drinks at Panda. Larger and easier to open bottles than the ones at the grocery store too. I need to go back!
