i don't know what the fuck you are buying but it sure is not BEEF. because there is NO FUCKING WAY you are buying 2lbs of ground BEEF for $2.

and sure in the hell is not 98% fatfree. you might want to get that meat checked out..because it sure is NOT BEEF.

it works out at $1 per lb.

i buy in bulk (50-100 lbs of ground beef at a time) even then im still pay $2-2.40 (it varies each time) from the local butcher or rancher.

only way you might get $1 a lb is if you have the butcher it yourself.

I think his proportions are all messed up as well.

How the hell do you make 20 hamburgers form 2 pounds of beef? What are these, "It's a Small World After All" hamburgers?

for a $1 you should be buying mcdoubles... not cheeseburgers.
hell splurge a few more cents and get double chzbrgrs

amateurs!!!!

Double cheeseburger isnt worth 30cents over the McDouble, its just one more cheese slice :(

mcdouble = $1
cheese burger = $1

2 patties for the price of 1... makes sense to me.

20 cents for an extra slice of cheese... adds flavor.

still worth it.

You retards. Go to the store, buy 8 pounds of sliced American for 50 cents and make 60 cheeseburgers yourself.

they aren't messed up to bad. i doubt he is makeing huge hamburgers. Every now and then we will make "slider" type burgers. you season teh meat really well and do them really thin (a rolling pin and pizza cutter work great) and throw them on the gridle.

we do t hat when we have a party. make a try of them and everyone loves them.

I buy the Groundbeef everyone else buys at the local Bloom Grocery store. 98% Fatfree GroundBeef.. Groundbeef isnt that expensive unless you shop at Giant or Safeway. All there Meat is expensive. I once spent $60 on 5 Ribbye steaks, Bloom had Angus Ribbye for Half that.

Bullshit, you do not get 98% fat free beef for a buck a pound. You would be lucky to get a manager's special on 73% fat free beef for a buck a pound. Hell, you're talking about ground filet mignon with a fat content like that, lol! :p

Ground chuck is typically 80% fat free and Angus might go 85% of so. I guess you might get something better from a butcher but not a $1 per pound.

Yeah, that is total BS.

Complete shens. We just got a side of beef straight from the farm and even that is more than $1 /lb.

comparison

McDouble - Not really good, but not terrible. Small, but it's a buck so that is too be expected. For some reason they seem to taste better after Midnight lol.

BK Double - use to cost over 2 bucks here, I believe $2.39, and now it's a bucks. WAY bigger, I thought it had to be in my head, but there's no comparing the size. And it tastes much much better. Only minus is BK uses shredded instead of leaf lettuce, which I don't really like. I don't see how BK is selling these for a buck. Maybe I need to eat both side by side to really compare the size. But the BK one seems a good 30-40% larger to me.

odds are you are doing the same thing i do. buy a 1/4th or 1/2 of a steer. usually comes out to like $4 a lb. BUT thats for EVERYTHING.

so you really can't compare.

They probably figure nobody eats there anyway, so they can't really lose money on a burger nobody buys. Joke's on them, I think I'll go get one of these.
