Bullshit, you do not get 98% fat free beef for a buck a pound. You would be lucky to get a manager's special on 73% fat free beef for a buck a pound. Hell, you're talking about ground filet mignon with a fat content like that, lol!

Ground chuck is typically 80% fat free and Angus might go 85% of so. I guess you might get something better from a butcher but not a $1 per pound.

i get 97% fat free beef from my walmart but its like 4 something a pound lol. but i dont buy a lot of red meat. usually do ground turkey...

2 patties for the price of 1... makes sense to me.


20 cents for an extra slice of cheese... adds flavor.
