Equivocating Jack Russell Terriers to humanity is an argument for intelligent design not random genetic mutations....
Stop straw-manning arguments. I am simply saying that maybe our genetic mutations that caused astonishing diversion from the apes was from something completely not from this planet, like an irradiated asteroid. As a possible reason why there was only one such single divergence as far as characteristics in our gene line.

The thing is...your theory? is a strawman. It makes no fucking sense. Species diverge from single lines all the time. In fact...that's what they do. We didn't diverge
from the apes, our ancestors and the apes diverged from a common ancestor around the same time. There were hundreds, if not many more species of humans as there were apes.
"Irradiated asteroids" do not cause mutations. Persistent exposure to certain classes of UV can cause SNPs, but these type of mutations result in cell death, or cancer--they are not inheritable mutations with any chance of germline transmission. (this means you aren't going to be passing, uh, "sunburn" to your kids).
Asteroids, if large enough, can certainly cause mass extinctions...but not through mutations.
