Grow up.

Seconded

What would you do if you and two of your girlfriends were stopped on a dark street by braindead skaters? If you're thinking that we didn't try to talk them out of it, I did. I tried to settle it peacefully, but he wouldn't agree, he spit on me, then everyone joined in.

Yeah, thats true...

Again, punch them in the eye if you can.. but dont expect not to get hit either.. it works best when you strike and duck immediately as they swing wildly. Hmm I suggest taking some WingTsun (kungfu style) classes if you are interested. If you want to avoid fighting altogether, you would want to show that you can take care of them... so take something like TaeKownDo, but that'll take years of training to be efficient.

hmm.. Take Kendo... you would be able to take care of 3 or 4 of them by yourself.. but only problem is that you need to carry some sort of stick with you all the time.

meh...

p-p-p-powerrr pole extend!

That having been said.

I always liked a good headlock face punch combo :)

Few people ever got out of one of my headlocks with out receiving some MAJOR discomfort first. ;)

are we talking about "noogie" here?

The friend that was left standing takes Kendo.

I guess what I'm trying to ask is what the most vulnerable parts on a person are. Like stuff that would knock him out/temporary disorientation stuff.

But working the face and using a fist. ;)

i heard somewhere that screaming is good during a fight. it encourages good breathing and might intimidate your enemy

Doesn't sound like he initiated the fight, so you grow up. Every man has to protect himself.

I agree if the attack is random.

But how is it some of us manage to go through our entire lives without ever throwing a punch or being physically attacked? Is it because we are lucky, or because we have different and less violent methods of conflict resolution?

I think it would be healthier for the OP to concentrate less on fighting style, and more on avoiding conflict altogether.

Never kick in a street fight unless you have pretty decent martial arts training. I got to learn this one the hard way. :p

Exception to rule: Kneecap kicks, inner thigh (the soft fleshy part) kicks. The latter requires martial arts training or practice.

If you're already too close (within arms length), a sharp headbutt to the face is probably your quickest takedown method.

If you can't see where I'm going with this, the point is a brawl where the two of you start flailing away with your fists is a bad idea when you could become outnumbered at any moment. End it quickly by disabling their ability to move and get the hell out of there.

dont listen to these idiots that are telling you to grow up. they are probably uptight dickwads anyway.

if you didnt start it, then you do not need to grow up. according to them, you probably should have just let them beat the hell out of you and give them your money before they even try to take it.

anyway, just keep your hands in front of your face and parry for 20-30 seconds. they will get tired and wont be able to defend from your punches anymore. street fights dont usually last longer than a minute if you have done it right. my dad grew up in a pretty rough area of town and ive seen him kick some ass. its never longer than 15-20 seconds with him, but he is a fvcking gorilla and scares the sh!t out of almost anyone when he goes into kill-mode.

that is the key...scare them.

Ours went on for 8 minutes!

On the bank clock it was 9:42 when they got out of the car, and 9:52 when they were dropped.

it went on for 8 minutes because you didnt do it right. im not critcizing you, but next time you need to block and parry for 20-30 seconds, and then go in for a couple of good shots and its game over. most people swing their arms wildly and have no idea what they are doing. they get caught up in the heat and forget how to actually punch someone. if you are on defense from the start, then you can keep your composure, then land a good uppercut or straight punch to the nose/eye and they will be on the ground. if the guy is a lot bigger than you, just try to make him tired as fast as possible, kick him in the knee or balls or just land a punch wherever you can.

or, an easier way...take a few martial arts classes

You mean screaming then running away?

That sometimes works too. ;)

Shot to the throat.
Punch to the heart.
Kick to the kidneys.

EDIT: Don't forget the temples.

Believe me, I TRIED to avoid conflict, it didn't ever seem to work.

If you are small, inevitably some dick will come along who is having a bad day and want to take it out on YOU.

Been a problem my whole life. Then being around Marines for four years made it worse. (Seems they were ALWAYS pissed of about one thing or another....)

It was like this:

PunkSkater1 spits on me. I send him to the ground. PS2/3 attack me at the same time, skinny friend takes on PS3, PS4 attacks fat friend. PS4/FF on the ground, I hit PS2 on the side of the neck, trip him, and kick him twice. PS3 and my other friend are locked together both punching the side of the other's head with the right hand, I tackle PS3, and we go down. PS2 comes up, and hits me in the back, and SF takes PS2 out. Then, seeing that he was alone, he stops, and runs away leaving the driver and his two friends lying on the street with the car running.

That took all of 8 minutes

Alright let me get this straight...

1. You and 2 girls beat up 4 guys? In other words you beat up 4 guys singlehandedly?
2. You actually looked at the clock before and after the fight and noticed that it was 9:42 before the fight and 9:52 after? This is what you were worried about, the time?
3. You think 9:42 to 9:52 is 8 minutes?
4. You post this on ATOT under the pretense of being worried that it took you too long to singlehandedly beat up 4 guys?

Sounds like a thinly-veiled bragging thread to me.

I think the four of you should have picked one person and killed him to show the other three that you mean business.
