Yeah, I know stuff like this happens. I wouldn't feel bad if I had done it to myself but it was the other guy's pure negligence and stupidity that got me good.

I don't really know anything about the guy right now. I'll get his name and the incident report that the gym employees filled out but, until then, there's not much I can do about him. He came up to the office with me and my buddy to watch me bleed and he did apologize. As I said, he was definitely a young, skinny type and I think he may have been frightened of my hulking friend. I'm hoping he's just sitting at home crying knowing a world of pain awaits him, should we so choose. Bwa ha ha ha!!! :evil:

I suppose beating the kid wouldn't help my chances in court though, huh? Decisions, decisions...

I mean, you DID get totally bashed in the noggin. 11 stitches is nothing to sneeze at, but it was an accident. Now, if you would've been permanently disabled or injured or something, then I could see it.

For the most part, I'm just kidding about the court thing. If, however, I have to end up getting some anti-scarring surgery my insurance won't pay for, I can tell you right now I don't want to foot the bill. Where does that take me? Like I said, I'll cross that bridge if/when I come to it.

Also, I totally agree the whole thing was an accident. No way did he do it on purpose. I also understand that what he did was stupid and entirely preventable. Negligent is a good word for it, I guess. I'm not mad at him nor do I have any kind of grudge. More than anything, I just don't want to pay for anything that has to be done. That's not true. More than anything I would have liked it to never have happened. I mean, hell, the guy ruined my workout!!!

My friend said the exact same thing. Had I known at the time the bleeding wasn't as bad as it seemed, I probably would have stopped to have a few words with the guy. Spitting blood in his face while yelling that exact phrase would have been my top choice. :laugh: I wish I could have done it all over again... Sigh.
