Same here

canker sores are normally brought on by stress and by large amounts of sodium in my case.

I still haven't had a canker sore in 3-4 years since I changed my diet.

Actually if you watch TV at all and have seen one of those commercials on that Herpe medicine stuff, it does say it's still possible to spread the Herp even if you don't have an outbreak....or something like that.

You probably caught herpes from the girl you were making out with or you may have a recurrent infection if you caught herpes a long time ago. Go see a doctor about it as soon as you can and don't touch the sores because they are very contagious, unless you want to spread them to other parts of your body. Just keep them clean and dry.

The good news is that the symptoms of herpes are treatable and the blisters usually don't leave scars. The bad news is that once you catch herpes you've got it for life.
