I Got Laser Eyes!

Ameesh

Lifer
4/9: well i dont need glasses anymore after 12 years. I had CustomVue Wavefront Lasik with Intralase and i had my surgery yesterday. Today i have 20/20 in one eye and 20/30 in another and the doctor says thats great, once my swelling goes down my vision should get progressivly better over the next week. At this point it is as good or better then my glasses. I dont have any halos or kalidescopes which people complain about

w00t!

4/12 update: So my night vision has gotten a lot better, and my eyes are staying lubricated by themselves for the most part, my vision is defintely getting better over time.

4/20 update: I had a checkup today for my eyes and had my vision tested, i have a combined vision with both eyes of 20/15 , its awesome. i will still have to use drops (artifical tears) 3-4 times a day for a couple of months or until the swelling goes down and my eyes start producing their own tears.

Is this the new type of lasik that is supposed to eliminate the halos? If so, what did it run you?

Sometimes I wish I would go blind in some terrible accident, so I could use the lawsuit money to get those new experimental implants that have all sorts of sweet attachments which allow you to see. IE, xray vision, night vision, thermal vision... mmhmmm 😎

Somebody posted the story a long time ago...

What was the price tag for it? And more importantly, are the Christmas lights blinking and do you know what I'm thinking? 😀

lol, I thought it was going to be a joke too, about heat vision or something 😛 But congrats...and yeah, how much did it run you?

Good for you, now take good care of them.

There's nothing I hate more than people with perfect (or better) post-correction vision who take it for granted (leaving lenses in for extended periods of time, etc.).

I was near-sited

It cost me $4K total

I don't know what the christmas light thing is

and yes this is the new one that eliminates most of if not all of the halos

Sweet dude 😀

I hope to get this done when I am older and my eyes steady out also.
