2 pairs of Oakleys for me..

5's.. $60 and A Wire 2.0.. $100 after discount

Best glasses ever they are with the 5's being my favorite. Gold tinted lenses.. can't see in the sun without them anymore.

Their policy is awesome too.. super cheap replacements of the frames and lenses, free frames for a year.

Wow, that's a lot of money for a pair of sunglasses. My prescription glasses made of flexible titanium didn't even cost that much with the lenses and the little clip-on sunglasses thing included.

I've been wearing a pair w/ perscription lenses for about 18months. No scratches yet, and yes the best pair of sun glasses I've ever owned. 😎

Thats cool, you get the lifetime warranty on them? That is a great warranty, oakley premium dealerships give you nice stuff.

Ya I bought them from a licensed store nearby. Been thinking of getting polerized amber lenses for fishing and stuff too.

I have the guy ordering in a set of the ruby iridium lenses for me. The ones that transition from red to blue, they are pretty sweet. There are a few types of lenses that I am gonna get, probably the fire and the emerald as well.

I have pair of C-Wire with prescription lenses. Total cost was $350 but they are the best pair of sunglasses I have ever owned.

Until you lose them!

hehe I'm soo careful w/ mine, always put them in the case designed for them and basically treat them like gold. In contrast I know people that probably go through at least two pairs of glasses every year because of carelessness.

Maui Jim's are sweet, my dad has a couple pairs of them, he got a set of barracuda's last summer, not sure what model his other ones are, but they are polarized.

those are pretty dang sweet, but i will stick with my Target shades cuz i am one of those people that go though 5 pairs per summer!

Since when have Oakley have lifetime warranties? My square wires only had 1 year, and I'm pretty sure the warranty card on my juliets were only 1 year...My roommate's C-wires broke, and he found out he had 2 days to ship them to oakley before his one year warranty expired...where did you purchase your juliets, and did they explicitly state that they had a lifetime warranty? Or is there a difference between the wires and x-metals?

I am a huge Oakley fan. I used to be one of those people who bought $5 glasses. Decided one time to get a pair of oakleys, and never looked back. They are the most comfortable sunglasses I've worn, and I've spent like 2 hours at a sunglass hut trying all different brands. They may cost $250, but since I wear them year round almost daily, and plan to wear them for several years, its worth the $ in my opinion. I've got the Titanium Juliets with Gold Iridium lenses. btw 🙂.

The new half wires look soooo tempting...

what a joke, no sunglasses are worth more than $100 IMHO.

they are cool though 😉
but still! sheesh

danny~!

never owned any oakleys, have you?🙂

To those who say their expensive.
Thats true. But unless you've actualy tried a pair of oakleys on for a day I dont think you can rant about it.

The optics on Oakleys are by far the best. A $20 pair of sunglasses does not compare.
Their have been optical studies that show Oakley lenses are the most distortion free lenses.
Incredibly clear. I enjoy my Golf M Frame array very much.

I've owned two pairs of Oakley, Original A-Wires Gold lenses and platinum frame & A-Wire 2.0 Silver frame and ice lenses. Absolutely great sunglasses and well worth the money.

Oakleys are great... if you want to look like a frat boy!

Most frat boys I know that have oakleys either have the jackets, minutes, fours, or tens. They merely bought the cheapest model they could just for the brand name.

Wires and X-metals are classier imo 😀

my $0.02

I bought them at a store called spare parts, they are an oakley premium dealership. They explicitly stated that there is a lifetime warranty on them. Its in Canada, I think thats the way it is at any oakley premium dealership. Oh and it is with all oakley sunglasses sold by the dealer. I love my glasses, working on getting the ruby iridium lenses though, cause they didn't have them when I bought mine.... and I didn't want to wait.
