I take 500mg twice a day (it costs me about $4/month)

I couldn't find any straight B5, and I was told it was good to have multi-B vitamins, so I got some B-Complete, which has a daily dosage of 100mg. 500 seems awfully high too. But I'll see how this stuff works. It's the highest dosage of pantotehic acid I could find. Also, why doesn't it say it's vitamin B5? I even asked someone at GNC and he had never heard of it. I didn't see anywhere that said B5.

Soap really dries my skin out. I never really noticed it until I switched to body wash and then back.

Boy, dry skin sure does suck in the winter.

And today, well after seeing doctor ,they made me took some pills( the only one i was scare to try are ACCUTANE)but, without success, it didnt really stop. And now today.I can say i have like over 200 spot of ance all over my back,a few on chest, and now i start having some in the neck.

Anyone got a magic formula, anything, tip that they can help?

Im just desesperate, and totally hate my body because of that.

How long did you take the Accutane for? It can take a couples of months to work. It does work, I have seen people with really bad skin have their acne go away completely with Accutane. But it doesn't happen overnight. And you have to put up with very dry skin and lips while you are on the drug.

There is some speculation that Accutane causes depression in some people. Then again, bad acne causes depression, too. :)

If you are worried about accutane in pill form, I think it is also available as a cream (isotrex?) but it isn't as effective in that form.

Accutane is what my friend used. Two years ago he looked horrible compared to me in the acne department, now he's practically perfect. Pisses me off because I still have it.

I was thinking about that.Im not someone who take lot of sun, do you think tanning can help?

no. it will just give you wrinkles. check out the accutane. or improve your diet. or both.

My face is ok.I just start to get some in the neck, and mostly are in the back

That isn't a "little problem". It's a fvcking HUGE problem. Go to a dermatologist. Take the Accutane. If you have the liver enzyme tests like you are supposed to, then you should be OK.

Don't over-cleanse your skin! Showering several times a day will only do one thing: irritate your skin further.

Hot water dehydrates and soap can irritate sensitive skin. Avoid over-the-counter solutions as they're useless. Most contain acids that simply dry-out oily skin to prevent break-outs, but do nothing to combat existing acne.

You are going to see acne regardless of what you wash with. You need medication. Consult a dermetologist.

I've washed my face twice a day, used the perscription face creams and antibiotics. Worked at first, doesn't right now. This was stuff from a dermatologist. What's more, it has irritated/flaked my skin at one point as well as irritating my eyes all the time.

Interviews for coop jobs are starting really soon too... :sigh:

Maybe they know their sh*t doesn't work and just want to make money off of you.

Haven't read thought the whole post, but go get Accutane. I used to have terrible acne, but then took it and I rarely get a pimple anymore. While I was on it, my skin and lips were very dry...basically your body doesn't produce any oil. In fact, I didn't need to shower too often because my skin was so dry. Anyway, after a few months on it I don't get pimples anymore and I never specifically wash my face. Before I got on it, I had tried pretty much everything, prescriptions, oral antibiotics, etc. You'll need to go in once a month for a blood test to make sure your liver is handling it ok, but you should be fine.
