I got a little creative with dinner tonight

Instead of the usual Sunday meal of steak and salad, I integrated the salad right into the meal. I grilled the onion slices for about 2 min. per side, and then drizzled them with a sauce containing olive oil, red wine vinegar, honey, salt and pepper. I sprinkled the tomatoes with salt and pepper.

The only disappointment was the meat. It's boneless top sirloin, which tasted fine, but it was a little tough. But that's what was on sale at the supermarket, and money's a little tight this month so I gotta stick to the budget. ;)

Sirlion is not bad if you cook it medium rare (the only way to make a steak) and cut it against the grain. This is very important.

That is a helluva lot of salt and pepper and makes it kinda look a bit nasty lol.
The meat also is a strange red texture, but no biggie as that part looks pretty good. :)
