Wow, it didn't hurt or bleed when my packing came out. You must be in bad shape. Hope you feel better soon!

Good gawd, I can't see why it didn't hurt for you. It felt like I was giving birth through my nose!

Were you using any kind of pain killers? I was on 2 Vicodin and it was like nothing at all.

I was given a prescriptions for antibiotics and pain killers. Since I had the surgery out of town, I was too lazy to go get either. And it didn't hurt at all, so I didn't need the pain killers. My packing pulled out quite easily and was no big deal. It felt weird, but that was about it. No pain and no bleeding.

I did have one of my scabs come out yesterday, and wow, talk about being able to breathe! I can't wait until the other scab frees itself.

I have a feeling it's going to be one more surgery for me before I feel like that. My left side is still blocked. I think the adenoid (tumor?) that grew back may be blocking it. :(

You were lucky on the pain side. I think they misjudged the size of my nostrils vs the size of the packing.
