I have never had a smart phone, I always got the "free" upgrades through verizon and have the ancient technology flip phone. Well 3 months ago one of my hinge joint broke and just last night the flip top separated from the body and thus the phone no longer works.
Luckily, I have been up for renewal 3 weeks now, and already cased the phone selection at the store. I am ready to take the leap into the second decade of the 21st century and purchase some type of Android based phone. I have massive hands and I would really prefer some type of physical keyboard. This looks to limit me to the Droid. Is this my only option, is it the correct choice?
I reviewed my last 6 months of usage and I have never approached my 450 minutes, my 250 texts, and of course I never used internet on my POS phone. As such I figure I should get a start data plan as I just don't use my phone.
I do get 20% off the plan through my company, but this seems to only be 20% off the base plan and not any additional features... I plan to figure this out at the store and find out how to maximize the plan discount over the add on feature plans.
cliffs... Verizon + big hands = Droid?
