Look. This is a binary determination. Either you know that there are people who will gladly screw others over for their own gain, or you are ignoring that simple fact of life. If you acknowledge that there are such people, and quite a few of them as well, you agree with me. If you want to refuse that such people exist then you're an oblivious idiot.

So which one do you want to be? I know it's painful for certain people in here to actually have to agree with me, but the alternative isn't very pretty either; so help yourselves to whatever side you feel like choosing.

Such people obviously exist. They're currently crafting a "healthcare proposal" that will leave 20M+ Americans worse off so that billionaires can have tax cuts.

Oh Snap!

Translation: You got nothin'.

It's OK. Try again to post something, anything, of value. It's been a while for you in here though, and you've long appeared to be empty of ammo, so I'm not going to hold my breath. Feel free to surprise though. I'm not giving up hope. I want you to succeed and not just suck. You still have potential. Remember. You're Good Enough, You're Smart Enough, and Doggone It, People Like You.

Ok, maybe people don't like you but 2 out 3 ain't bad. Or maybe 1 out of 3. Or maybe 0 out of 3. But, try again. You might be better next time.

It's really not that much different for the hatred you and others on the left have for the upper level of society, both sides label their favorite targets as unworthy of anything and deserving of derision and try to act accordingly. The best course of action probably lies somewhere in the middle, but both sides have to have their enemies.

And to answer some other accusation in the same thread, because I'm tired of dealing with the pile-on, regarding the "both sides do it" argument, look at when someone on the right make comments in here less than favorable to Muslims. It's takes no time before someone on the left comes in and exclaims that Christians do it to. I don't see any you guys dressing down those that proffer that argument then.

Regarding race, nobody blinks an eye when someone in here makes a comment about white trash. Could you imagine the absolute furor and outrage if anyone ever DARED to make as comment about Black trash? Holy hell the usual suspects in this place would erupt with accusations of racism.

But those are the double-standards that pervade this stinking hellhole, and many of the leftists in here fully support that standard because some of the very same ones in here calling me a degenerate are also the VERY same ones that have used the term white trash. And you have the gall to label me racist? Seriously, some of you need to take a hard look in the mirror.

You quoted my question, never answered it & then obfuscated like Rumsfeld telling us where the Iraqi WMD's were located.

Not one of your better performances.

Please don't snap anything. Regardless of the plan from the left or the right, it's probably going to cost you a lot out of pocket. But you knew that already, didn't you?

So why not improve what we already have or better yet let's just copy what literally any other place on earth that you'd want to live does?

I answered it. You hate one side of the economic spectrum, Jhhnn. In fact, I would question if the right really hate the poor as much as the left hate the rich. It is some speculation, but I would speculate that the answer is no.

So I look at you and your compatriots as being the bigger haters because your comments about Righties having no compassion for the poor, ime, doesn't have a lot of legs. Trump may be an asshole in that regard, but not all Righties support Trump, just like not al lefties supported Hilllary. It just isn't that simple.

So haters gonna hate. But press on, all while ignoring the rest of my post, as so many other of the racist lefties who are clearly OK with the "White Trash" argument in here. I'm laughing how they are completely soft-shoeing around that.

Keep trying to redirect, folks. I will continue to call you out.

Which other place is that? Why do so many people from other places want to live in the US?

Other places have cheaper care. It is far, far cheaper to go to Thailand for a month and get medical care for conditions that would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in the US.

But where do you think doctors in Thailand learned those procedures from? Where did they buy the equipment? It wasn't developed there. If you want the best, latest treatment in the world you come to the US, and you pay for it. That's even common among Canadians, who have free healthcare. It's just how thing are. And all of us in the USA pay for that.

You mean this tiny part of the dance?

I already explained it. If you didn't comprehend it's not my problem, it's yours. It means you refuse to understand.

Stay oblivious. It only serves your own obstinance. And protect the rest of the racist lefties in here too. I had little doubt you would distance yourself from them.

Literally anywhere, like anywhere on the planet. Your answer still doesn't explain why a Dr in Thailand can get training and resources from the US cheaper in Thailand than in the US. We (the US) have by far the most expensive healthcare in the World and our life expectancy is completely mediocre. Not a horrible life span but not a great lifespan.

How long do you want to wait for medically necessary services?

Depends few weeks or an emergency room visit that runs about 2-4k.
I've worked with Canadians & Europeans, they all say the same thing. They'll get a physical here, they'll do an emergency service for something like a bad cut but anything else they'd go home for because the wait time isn't all that much longer and the service provided is either identical or better.
Shit around the question all you want but it is a fact that we pay by far the most for healthcare/treatments in the world. Our medical system rates very poor by its customers (you & I user reviews vs almost anywhere else in the world) and we have a middle of the road life expectancy. These are not results to be proud of.

We're gluttons who eat like pigs.

Some of those average wait times are crazy long. Need a brain surgery? Expect to wait an average of 47 weeks! Almost a year.

I am a technical writer. In the 90s I did work for a company that produced LASIK equipment. I wrote their operations manuals and helped them to get FDA approval for their equipment.

I had LASIK in 2005. Now I've had early onset of cataracts, had cataract surgery and, guess what? People who have had LASIK have a 30% higher chance of having early onset of cataracts.

There are medical procedures that require years of observation and data gathering before we can be sure they are safe for all.

I bet you can get cheap LASIK in Thailand. Feel free to help yourself, Afterall, you do have two eyes. You can save money if only one gets fucked up.

Let us all know how your next Thailand surgery goes, because you saved money.

Even with a 47 week wait time they still live longer & pay less. Plus the Patient rates their experience better than the same US Patient on average.
Again when I am paying far more than the next guy I expect better service.

Or I could go the Norwegian route and get great care for less money.
Act like a loser all you want, it's your choice to pay more and expect less. Somehow I doubt you tolerate that with anything else in life.

Uh huh. Because Norwegian doctors didn't follow the same route and purchased the same equipment as Thai doctors?

Thailand, Norway? It all comes from the US. Take your pick. Neither of them invented this process, which I know because I was involved in the birth of this process.

Pretend you aren't a loser but you're still making the same 3rd-world choice.

Again all these places have cheaper care and better Patient reviews plus longer lifespans but I'm not certain about Thailand.
We're going in circles this discussion has become pointless for each of us

Our terrible diets are probably more to blame. Waiting 47 weeks while obese? Recipe for disaster. Life span isn't a single variable function.

To the Patients their overall experience is better. Again if I'm paying the most I expect the best all around.
Similar to the other guy this discussion has become pointless to both of us.
Reviews don't tell you how your experience is going to be.
