Same here. I'm glad they have their forums though. Without them a lot of those snot nosed punks would be over here.

Nice shot Red. Over the centerfield wall for about 425 feet.

Oh, and welcome jello !

Welcome Jello....good group of people here.
(Just don't talk about your girlfriend/boyfriend unless you post a pic with it.)

*edit: Of course, most of us could do without your boyfriend's pic if that's the case. (IMO)

Well I don't want to appear like I'm coming here to whine about HF... wouldn't want Kyle to say I need dress shields and panty liner.
But hell, I don't mind satisfying anyone's curiousity, especially since that thread doesn't tell the whole story.
I wasn't the only one banned. hdeck, my roommate, who CIWS assumed was me, was also banned. Another friend, who made good points in my favor, and supported the hArDOCp argument, HAD HIS POST DELETED. That is the most amazing part of the whole thing. I just didn't expect them to delete a post simply because it showed them to be wrong.

Bah.. I'll just paste the whole email thing. At this point, after typing all that crap, I don't give a damn if it looks like I'm whining. Plus the other folks who got banned on my account can read it.

I typed this email today. I'm not expecting Kyle to read it, so why not paste it here for other people to read?..
And that is grounds for bannage? Technically maybe, but it looks petty and childish to me. So does deleting a post made by my friend that has everything to do with the thread. Maybe it looked like I re-registered (1 post)? I can understand if I made a thread for the purpose of questioning the way things are run, because then the thread wouldn't fit the board. But the posts definately fit the thread. So I was banned for "questioning the way things are run" even though it fit entirely in the context of the thread, and I was RESPONDING to CIWS? And this is a bannable offense, the first time, for two year member? It doesn't add up.

I just saw that hdeck was banned..
His post:
maybe my eyes deceive me but i don't see where he was 'disin an admin'...really sad when you can't even voice your opinion without being banned...

EDIT CIWS- and you should know better than to have multiple accounts on the board Jello

CIWS should know better than to ban people for being me who aren't me. I especially take offense at this. I only have and have only ever had one account. Why is the IP address the same? Because he is my roommate! Don't you think he should be unbanned? And that post by someone else was deleted (the 1 post guy). This is a high school friend of mine. I assume he was banned as well. He registered for the very purpose of pointing out that unbanning me for "dis'n an admin" was unfair. Of course you can't read his post because CIWS deleted it.
You may have technical reason for banning me, but where's the justification for banning my friends?

Now I don't expect you to unban me.. that would mean wavering from your stance, "You questioned authority in a thread!" Fine. Just consider this whole thing please.

Don't look for a much different situation here, Jello. You piss off the mods, and you're screwed.

You don't get banned forever from here for just speaking your mind in a coherent and non-aggressive manner.
Or at least I hope not. I haven't seen it.

I've been threatened with such on the one time that I did voice my opinion without attempting to rip someone's head off at the same time. ;) :p I asked why, and I never got a response. I'm not sure if they are here anymore, but one mod in particular was out for blood for me because of a misunderstanding that they refused to see the real meaning behind.

But, in any case, our mods do a good job most of the time. Nobody's perfect, but they have one hell of a thankless job -always having to look for the bad things kinda makes it hard sometimes to see the good things.

If I can get banned just for pissing off the mods, I don't think I would want to post here anyway. So there's no problem there! That is... unless my friends get banned too... :D
I have zero respect for authority, I just try to follow the rules.

The feelings mutual. However, if you follow the rules you wont be upsetting us. Enjoy your stay:)

If you follow the rules, you're respecting authority over you who set those rules in place. Now, which one is it? You do or you don't?

I mean that I follow the rules because I agree to them when I post on a forum. But I'm not going to give an authority figure undeserved respsect just because of his/her position.
