I FINISHED!!! UPDATED:

Ok, So I finally got the money together to build myself a home theater seen in this thread. Well I needed something to house all my components, like XBox, PS2, Gamecube, and HTPC.... so what did I do? I built a coffee table that houses everything. I even put my cable modem and router in there. So without further ado,
Pics of the whole table.
The front components.
Gamecube from the front
Gamecube from the top
UPDATE: system selector and HTPC
Without the table top
Cables out the side
top with projector screen
The gamecube was a pain in the butt to line up and I think it turned out really well... it looks alot better IRL.
I built it completely with a dremel. Talk about worst idea EVER!!!

UPDATE!: Within 24 hours of being complete, I've already added more crap...

Ok so I did a few things to show progress. I made a shelf in the back side of the table to cover up the massive cable hell that lies beneath it. I plan on making the gamecube shelf flush by using pecies of scrap to fill in those holes, I will paint those black.
I painted the interior of the case black (above shelf level) and painted the shelves the gamecube and system selector sit on. I feel it gives them quite the nice touch. I also feel the shelf (which I bought at home depot and happend to be the EXACT width I needed (11.8" weird, eh?)) I feel if I painted that black it would look a little funny. I plan on cutting out a hole in the "wood" shelf and putting in a bucket of some sort to hold the controllers from my video game systems. I have enough room so that when the next consoles do come out that I can simply add more shelving for them. I bought hinges to put on the top of the table so it just lift right up but have not added them yet. I also have a 120mm fan I plan on mounting in the back bottom left of the unit to expel hot air from the HTPC, for all those concerned with cooling.

UPDATE PICS!:
Table with nothing on it
Table with new shelf
Table with new shelf angle 2
Table with new shelf angle 3

I personally like how he got all the wires out one asthetic-friendly port.
I also like the black sides and vineer top (is that vineer? if not, nice job on sanding and painting)

LOL It's a dining room table top I bought at Kmart for $60. It came with 4 chairs that I needed, but I didn't need the top, so I used it for the top.

Looks nice...but WTF are you going to do when new sh!t comes out?

You said it's a $60 table, so I guess just toss it. I wish everything was just rackmount...it would make everything so much easier.

I have space to cut one more hole above the HTPC so I can just cut a hole there, and if the PS3 is bigger than the PS2 I can just cut the current hole bigger.
BTW, the table cost about $150 wood ad hardware is damn expensive. If I had to do it again I would definately use some kind of shelving system that allows movability.

LOL!

You get extra  from me, that's like building that table with dental floss and duct tape!!!

you could verticaly mount stuff too, because the PS2 doesn NEED to be horizontal

and i don't think the Xbox 360 will HAVE to be horizontal either
