Wrong. It's the MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) that makes you "feel" full. It wears out quickly and thus you feel hungry. Chinese restaurants use this (especially the buffet) so that you won't eat as much. Less eating = Less food required to be served = more profit for them.

I am always full for hours if I eat Chinese with rice. Actually somebody researched this 10 or 15 years ago.

Rice is pretty filling to me. But then I'm asian so my physiology might be better tuned to handle carbs. American fast food is more filling, but that's not necessarily a good thing ;)
