There's this place called Rice Cafe that serves potatoes instead of chicken in their General Tso's chicken. I guess since the thing is crunchy and flavored heavily on the outside, they assumed people would fail to notice that there's not actually chicken in their general tso's chicken. Fucking. Outrageous.

Fixed.

Sexual innuendo? *strokes beard with pointer and thumb*

I wish I could stroke my beard with my pointer. :(

KT

Try the little blue pill.

You just want me to stroke your beard.

I agree, somewhat. Its not 30 mins later, but its sooner than with other food it seems like. I ate a Chinese buffet yesterday for lunch. By the time I left (4 hours later) I was very hungry. And I stuffed myself for lunch.

My guess is that it's a mix of the oil and MSG causing you to feel fuller than you actually are. I could be mistaken, though.

Maybe because a majority of it is rice / noodles and only small amounts of actual meat in most cases.

I find eating a actual Chinese person keeps you full longer.

that's rather odd considering it's the starches that make you feel full...

It happens to me with Japanese, but only when I just eat sushi.

that's cause it takes so long to eat sushi, you get the "i'm full" feeling after ingesting far less food than you would normally eat if you were eating proper food with proper utensils.

(also why sushi is good diet food >_<)

Well they do but being carbs they usually get burned off faster then meat and such.

Chinese makes me more full and packed than anything else.

Me too...just not for nearly as long as cheeseburgers.

Usually, less than 5-10% of the selection includes shrimp.
