Damn and I was JUST watching Neverending Story thinking the same thing...(I'm 28)

I hear from many that after you retire and become REALLY old, you turn back into a kid although a little shriveled up.

Now that I'm 21 I wish I could just stay here. My biggest fear is getting old and having all these problems. I don't want to have to burden my family with problems. Man if I ever lose it I hope someone pulls the plug on me.

always have health insurance. thats solves the problem of being a burden.

you can always pull the plug yourself.

and, yes it goes downhill after graduate and have to be responsible. cause chicks dont like guys living in their mom's basement

You can't be 20 there

I really like Neil Young, never heard that song before. I guess its the way I gotta look at things.

This worry just needs to leave my mind. I was taking care of my grandpa the other night who is in terrible shape and it just got me thinking about things. Sad part is his mind is all there, just his body is dieing from being an alcoholic/chain smoker for 30 years. I eat healthy and work out every other day so hopefully I'll be in better shape than he is by the time I'm his age (70).

You're going to get old, live with it. As far as the 21 thing, it'll get old quick. You'll get sick of having hangovers in the morning and watching your bank account shrivel because of "Having fun". Growing up is not always about having fun, it's more about enjoying life. And how can you enjoy life when you're in bed because you drank too much?

Growing old beats the alternative... ;)

Ahh, 21

I'm just glad I can remember these feelings you talk of. Don't worry getting old is not so bad, just make a lot of memories as you go. No regrets

I'm 21, and birthdays certainly won't mean as much to me as they used to, but I still got most of my life ahead of me.

Getting old and having all what problems?

Sorry, but at 21 you're still just a kid. Come back and complain about getting old when you're 70.
