I don't want to get old

When I was 12 I couldn't wait till I could drive. When I was 16 I couldn't wait till I could stay out past 10 and party all night. When I was 18 I couldn't wait till I could hit up the bars and buy my own alcohol.

Now that I'm 21 I wish I could just stay here. My biggest fear is getting old and having all these problems. I don't want to have to burden my family with problems. Man if I ever lose it I hope someone pulls the plug on me.

Yeah, you can't wait to grow up, then when you do you wish you were a kid.

My best advice is don't take shortcuts in life. It's more difficult, but it leads to a less stressful adulthood I read a book once that had a list of things people need to be happy. They were:

Health
Money
Social Stability

If you can get all three things equally, you'll be pretty happy. Being over 30 kind of sucks (I work out like a (*&$)(@#& and still have this damn gut), but I wouldn't want to be 21 again.

It will happen, you will have health problems, you are going to die. It's the price you pay for being alive.
But it's not all that bad, as you get older you begin to come to grips with the cold hard facts of life, and it's a LOT easier if you have faith.
