As for the issue of kids getting upset over the end of their daily video gaming: Its really not new. I remember friends flipping out when they had to give up Final Fantasy or TMNT2 for dinner. (Damn that makes me sound old).
And we all know about "YOU STOLE MY FUCKING CLOUDSONG!!!!" and all the other angry men who used to be angry boys. It was funny for a little while, now its just sad.


MY SOLUTION TO ALL OF AMERICAS PROBLEMS:
EVERYBODY, (video gamer or not) needs to read at least one chapter of a book every single day. It doent have to be a good book, it could be the one I saw at B&N recently that actually tried to glorify the current Bush Regime. Or it could be sci-fi or erotica.
But everybody needs to find something that has only text on each page and read one chapter of it. If folks already read much more or want to read much more then good on them. But the minimum is one chapter.

This kid sounds exactly like a kid I know, except he plays WoW. He get super angry if you bother him, he's violent, and he drilled a hole in his parents house at one point in time to run a 56k cable from his closet(to play WoW) into their living room(where a phone jack was) to have late night access to the internet.
