Been working pretty hard the last few months and took some "progress" pics... thought I would share one.

206 lbs. 5'8" I would approximate my BF at 10-13%
18.25" arms
35" waist
25.5" legs

Waist seems pretty big? Or did you mean your hips?

Solid work!

It does, but the tape don't lie. 34 pants are big in the waist fwiw. I am working on getting it down, but where I am now it's slow going.

Chest is ~48"

Vanity sizing as far as the pants go.

I would guess your pants are somewhere around a 37-38 if you measured around them accurately.

Also jacked.

I wear sweats everyday. I do have jeans from 30-38 size. @268 I wore a 38. I can put on a 34 jean with room to spare in the waist. So interpret that as you will. I don't have a gut and have plenty visible abs so that's really all I care about ;)

Yeah man.

An impressive physique for sure. It's about proportions anyway. Legs back to 26inches now that I'm 88.1kg morning.

I don't even care about that. I just want to get my strength back up and stay moderately lean and I'll see where I am next year.

Ever tempted to do a bb comp?

I remeasured this AM... 34" at the waist ;)

I thought about doing a show when I was back in college, but not sure I could cut enough anymore. I'm not that young of a man (35) and my job in the summer interferes with my lifting/training too much. working 16-20 hrs a day for couple hundred days straight weighs on me. I was making in to lift, but lack of sleep and diet are tough.

Hoping to get my legs up to at least 28". I am looking for legs at least 80% of waist.

I train legs today. Maybe with a good pump I'll be 26" +

I'm kind of over the strength thing. I benched on sunday with my old lifting partner. He was repping 360-370 and I think I got up to 265..... he was like WTF is up with you? I says I just can't handle the big weight like I used to.

My shoulders are finally feeling good and not interfering with my other lifts. they click a lot, but I don't have the impingement I had for the last few yrs.

I still push hard on deads for weight. that's a lift I have only been doing for the last 3-4 yrs. I never did it back in my "strong" days because it ironically made my waist too big...

do you find it hard to find dress shirts that fit?

don't remember the last time I wore one, but in the past, yes, it's been a challenge. I had to buy a suit back in the day when I was really lean coming out of college. Not easy finding a 17 drop.

then when i got married they sent my the wrong vest with my tux with a note saying that nobody that wears a 48 jacket only needs a large vest, so we sent a XXL that matches the jacket size. LOL

Awesome! Did you eat a lot to get that size?

I've kind of always been "big". I was holding about 210-220 through most of my 20's. then with a kid, my work load increasing (i'm a farmer) and my age, I started gaining weight. It wasn't all bad because I kind of had the CT Fletcher attitude about being big and strong. when I ate, I got strong. after a while that got old and realized I was just too fat. at my highest I was 268... but mainly I was holding about 245-250 for the past few yrs.

I just said enough is enough last fall and started cutting. over last winter I got down to about 225 by may. I lost another 10 or so over the summer and the last two months I've lost a few more pounds, but more so added some size.

in terms of eating a lot... yes, I ate A LOT. I never really ate bad, just too much.

now I eat about 5 times a day. this is what a typical day looks like for me
get up and 30 minute walk on mill

*8:30 - 65 grams oatmeal - sometimes 1/3 apple added in with 50 gram protein shake

*10-10:30 - 8 oz chicken breast with steamed veges. I tried to eat some carb here as well (today will be mashed potatoes).

may eat a small peanut butter honey sandwich if need be before training

train (lifting) from about 11:30 -1:00-
- usually eat two pieces of fruit during workout before cardio
- 5 days a week I do a 12 minute HIIT following my lifting

*1:30 - 65 grams oatmeal with 50 gram protein shake

* by 4:00 - 8 oz chicken breast with a carb (today it will be sweet potatoes). I might eat this meal early (maybe 2:30) if I feel I need it after my workout

*6:00 - 7:00 - 4-5 eggs, maybe 4-6 oz chicken breast depending on what I feel like. I'll have more veges here if I have them, If I can do without a carb, I'll skip that. maybe finish off the apple from the morning. maybe just a piece of light wheat bread with the eggs, or some pasta sauce with the chicken. I'll usually eat some cheese with this meal

- if I am feeling up to it, I'll walk again for 30 minutes
I play this by ear. I'm just trying to keep moving more so than really calling this cardio

*9-10:00 - I'll sometimes take a more meal replacement type shake.. lately that's been syntha-6. something with more than just protein..

Mad props dude

thanks!

I have an image in my head where I want to be... where I wanted to be. I am getting ever so close to it. I am working hard. this isn't easy and there are no short cuts. I feel like I am blessed and cursed with the ability to put on size. took me a long time to figure out how to use it to my advantage. it comes down to 24/7 commitment to my diet.... and in that regard, I am still learning. the lifting and training is easy. it's the other 150-some hours a week that will kill your progress

Not too shabby. Looks like in addition to cutting 10kg like Koing I also need to add ~ an inch to my arms over this next year. And I like being 240-250, it's a damn good number. But if I were 4 inches shorter I might want to be a tad lighter.

I literally LOL'd.

A long time ago I posted in here asking which headphones to get. I guess it was you who suggested that I get the Kinivo headphones!

BTW: Pretty impressive build for a guy in his mid-30's.

oh, to be 4" taller. 220-230 would be a good weight at 6'2"

It might have been me. My Kinivo's actually stopped taking a charge after about 2.5 months. I then bought these soundbot; which is basically the same headphones. there are a few rebranded setups like them. these have been going strong for a while now.

My age is 35, but I do look young. most people put me at 27-28. Now my concern falls on my test levels. everyone says 35 is about the time when it falls off. I'm feeling pretty good now

80% ratio lol, love it.

I'm undecided if I'll do a show or not. Seems like a lot to sacrifice if you aren't really in to it, but it may be good to do once in a life time? I'm also kicking off a new business next year so that won't help matters out.

I'm over BP as well. Once I get my chest up to a better size I'll just ease up on the BP. I guess not having BP for years on years has saved my elbows and shoulders. My left elbow was starting to hurt towards the end of my cut which I have NEVER experienced as I didn't BP often or cut down. Just something odd and new to me.

I'm 30 next month and I'm adjusting my training as well. My body won't go heavy 4x a week like it use to even 2-3yrs ago!

I was watching a few youtube videos where girls say they feel great after training blah blah blah fit and healthy. I don't know about you, but I feel great afterwards but the next day I feel as if someone beat the crap out of me. Hips and back are sore today. Heavy bs yesterday and 4sets of tennis.

88.1kg today.

People like me really dislike people like you!!

Great job! It takes a lot of discipline to get to where you are. I can attest to the fact that if you are not disciplined you will not look like you, you will look like me.

I'm working on it, but at 44 it's getting harder and harder every month.

I think he said he was a farmer somewhere. I don't know if there is much size to profession correlation. I'm bigger than him and do IT.

Both, you've got bigger arms but I don't curl. Squat 550 deadlift 600 @ 6' 240-250lbs, fairly lean.
