The Postal Service is an Agency of the US Government, not a true private corporation. Perhaps this question should be posed to the politicians that are busy running their mouths about mismanagement of private corporations. While you're at it ask them about those other fine GSEs Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Bonuses may be stipulated into the contract and may not necessarily be based off of purely profitability. Unless we know the specifics in the contract we're only talking out of our butts even though they may not deserve it.

You mean to say that if someone is promised a bonus they should always get it b/c it's been stipulated? Hmmm... like that always happens.

If it's written into a contract, then yes. Some of us drones are promised* a bonus too.

But that little "*" after our promise has a whole slew fine print and triggers associated with it that the CEO/President/exec/ect doesn't have.
