Why would you be "obliged" to go to any SuperBowl Parties when you hate the game so much? I don't like to watch Baseball on tv and I'll be damned if anyone makes me watch it much less go to a World Series party.

Alot of people don't get the "game" when watching it on tv what ever game that might be I hate to see golf, baseball and even some football games (any game with the Bengals in it). I agree it is more fun to play than to watch football but I will try to take a day off to watch this year's SuperBowl even thou my NY Giants are not in it

I really don't care for football myself. I used to play with friends in HS, but none of us ever played on organized teams. It kind of fizzled out in favor of hockey. That's what I play nowadays (college team and now local leagues) and I honestly can't say I'm interested in all this Super Bowl hoopla anymore... ever since Steve Young retired from the niners anyway...

There, I said it too. I watched half of one NFL game all season. I won't be in front of the tv on Super Bowl Sunday like the rest of America...
