Sounds like the poster had sex right before he fell asleep so his brain couldn't encode the memory. For example, you guys don't remember the minutes before you fall asleep. Another example is sleep apnea where you suddenly wake up in the middle of the night because you stopped breathing for a second. Most people suffering from sleep apnea don't even realize it because after they wake up, they fall back asleep immediately and their brain couldn't encode the memory so they don't remember waking up in the middle of the night gasping for air.
