I decided to look around for something else to worship.

It's "yo-momma" jokes asshole. What are you some young New Zealand Ass-hole or something? ... Oh wait .. you are.

If I met you on a walk ... or in a doorway ... or at dinner ... you would in no way call me a douche. The anonymity of the Internet has given you the balls to say what you normally would not to someone in your presence. Get some balls and treat others with the respect that you would afford them if they were standing right in front of you. If you had uttered these words to me you would never say them again ...

You NEVER joke about a guy's dead mother, douche ... It's a sensitive subject.

Lighten the fuck up. My mom's been dead since 97. On special occasions, such as Mother's Day and her birthday, I go to the closet and pat her box...then close the door.
NOTHING is sacred on these forums. We make fun of dead people, sick people people who earn the Darwin Award, people who TRY to earn the Darwin Award, mass murder, genocide, starving people, the oil slick, politicians who get caught fucking boys, politicans who get caught fucking girls, politicians who get caught fucking the taxpayer...nope...NOTHING is sacred here.

lol, woahhhh. Someone's an angry person. I'm happy to agree with others calling out GA or Gayner usually, but really, how the fuck is he supposed to know your mom is dead? It's a yo mamma joke.

And for those of you who look to The Bible for moral lessons and literary qualities, I might suggest a couple of other stories for you. You might want to look at the Three Little Pigs, that's a good one. Has a nice happy ending, I'm sure you'll like that. Then there's Little Red Riding Hood, although it does have that X-rated part where the Big Bad Wolf actually eats the grandmother. Which I didn't care for, by the way. And finally, I've always drawn a great deal of moral comfort from Humpty Dumpty. The part I like the best? "All the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put Humpty Dumpty back together again." That's because there is no Humpty Dumpty, and there is no God. None, not one, no God, never was.

LOL, naive atheist is trying to be cute. Very amusing considering how you live in a culture completely saturated with religiously-derived speech expressions, thoughts, and concepts. You can mock religion if you want, but you live in it the way that fish live in water. Without scientific concepts and breakthroughs derived from religious teleology (such as cause and effect, and the numerous Enlightenment Age ideas based in Christianity) you'd still be worshiping the Sun and not simply because you were trying to be ironic.

It was the Christians who killed the original Greek concept of Reason and left us in a theological stupor for a thousand plus years until the Enlightenment finally re-awoke Reason. Now the freaking Christain/Muslim/Jewish fundies want to plunge us right back into the darkness.

The world revolves around white people who worship arabs. Yes. Indeed.

I don't care who the OP or anyone else chooses to worship (or not worship). I just find it amusing that he wants to mock religion while being oblivious to its influence on his life, beliefs, practices, and mindset. It's akin to mocking your parents in teenage years, without the insight of realizing exactly how much you act like them.

You are a prime example of a closed minded religious fanatic; you try to preach your virtues while the whole world laughs at you, not with you, but at you.

Your sun god is eventually going supernova and there will be no saving grace from its divine plan.

I'm willing to bet the sun god will outlast whatever gods you are worshiping, or will be manufactured in the near future. It was here before any other gods existed.
