I dare you to watch this video without smiling...

Ok maybe I'm biased because I'm a student pilot and hope to have kids one day. 😛

And you definitely don't have to be a 1%er to learn to fly.

I liked it. That's what's good about kids. You get to relive the magic of life and discovery through their eyes.

I won.

I didn't feel anything and it was actually boring, it's just a kid flying on an airplane.

I took my Grandson up for the 1st. time when he was 3.
He loved it!
He's 6-1/2 now with around 12 hours under his belt, all he talks about is flying with "Papaw"!

Was awesome! Big smile...

It's too bad some people can't at least crack a smile for a little girl and her dad experiencing something like that.

I sent if off to family. I have been lucky enough to have given many first flights.
^ she could have operated the controls but clearly she was quite occupied as it was 😀

Since your a pilot... How do you fly that plane from the backseat? Seems like the passenger would block vision, or am I confused?

Once you are airborne it is better. The Champ can be solo flown from either seat, with some caveats on weight and balance on specific aircraft. He could see over her easily. The camera was a bit below the top of the panel.
All taildraggers have limited visibility while taxiing.
