Once you are airborne it is better. The Champ can be solo flown from either seat, with some caveats on weight and balance on specific aircraft. He could see over her easily. The camera was a bit below the top of the panel.
All taildraggers have limited visibility while taxiing.

Gotcha, thanks :^)

That was great. Thanks for posting it.

I have taken both my son and daughter up when they were younger.

They both enjoyed it immensely.

In most of these contrived videos, if you remove the sappy music, they are rather dull.

Her dad is so cool. Her reactions are priceless. When they touch down she sees one of her siblings and is waving wildly, you can briefly see them running to catch up.

or possibly even shedding a tear. ;)

Ok apparently most of you guys aren't the target audience. :p
(Pilots, people that dream to fly, parents, or people that actually like kids will probably like it.)

Not impressed to the point where i fell asleep. I am the potential "target audience" but was so bored I skipped through it hoping for the point where I would shed a tear ... and that never came. If I wanted to cry (from laughter) I would watch the fake NK propaganda video:

You probably need to be a parent to appreciate it.
I teared up remembering my daughter when she was young and experiencing new things. They are so happy and excited. It can be exhilarating showing them new things and experiencing it with them.

Then they turn into asshole teenagers that know it all.

Then in their late twenties they grow up and understand why you set rules and boundaries and they appreciate you for it.

Now I love spending time with my 2 year old granddaughter but I also like to send her home when she gets tired. :D
