I didn't say their is no point behind getting married and having kids, but I just don't see a reason for me in particular to do it.

Once you get a taste of it, youll understand why.

Besides, everyone here already knows how fast youll change your tune as soon as you find someone. Youre not the first person to ever be in this situation.

Every single person I know that says they dont want to get married kids is the kind of kid that has never been with a girl seriously. It is self justification, and its obvious to everyone but the person in question.

You are a clueless moron. That is perhaps the dumbest thing I've ever read in my life. Please ban yourself because you clearly don't know WTF you're talking about.

That's funny, I don't see anyone refuting my comment.

It is so outrageous, why would anyone waste their time refuting it?

It is not outrageous, I merely explore into untrodden teritorries of truth others before me had never dared to go.

But deep down, most people would be happier without kids, especially because most kids are trouble makers.

I think this is flat out false. The vast majority of people would not be happier without kids. If that was the case and kids made people so unhappy, then they wouldn't have them.

But only a idiot would have kids.

I think this statement is just stupid. Every class of people in society has kids. Rich people, poor people, uneducated people, educated people, smart people, not so smart people... guess what they all have in common? They all have kids.

Let it all out. Heh, now we're getting somewhere.

The reason you havent found someone is because youre still harboring fantasies bred by fiction. You already think you know what love and relationships are all about when youve never been in one. ANYONE will tell you that you simply do not understand until you are in the position yourself.

But at this point youre so used to your rejection that youve slunk into a corner, and nothing reeks worse than that to a woman except desperation.

Its like telling yourself that youll never drive a car unless its an m6, meanwhile everyone else is out driving their cars, whatever they may be, while youre sitting at home on a forum dogging on any car that isnt an m6.

I'm with the OP on this one...I don't have this urge to get married and have children either. And i also stand by the no-sex-before-marriage ideal. It's just so logical. I also have the same view towards women, they're great, and yes i'm attracted to them, but sex isn't #1 on my list.....i dont' even know if it's on my list at this point in time. I have had plenty of opportunities if i had cared to. When the girl comes that i want to spend my life with, it will happen, but that isn't my lifes goal. I'm comforatable with myself alone, and as with the OP, i've got lots of friends.

You are teh suck as posting.

True you are only posting your opinions, just like everyone else, but DAMN. You know if I'm at a public place and if there's an obnoxious kids there, well, I tell the parents that their kid is a jackass - not necessarily worded so, but I convey it to them.

I taught kids - did I have to do it? No. Were some of the kids brats? Undoubtedly. But do I, in the core of my being, think that I was wasting my time with them? Hardly. In fact, I think it was the greatest influence in me shaping myself into a better person as a whole.

If all kids are brats/ little bastards with no redeeming value, then how do they improve as adults? Everyone was a kid once in their life, you know.

Even most adults are pricks and moral/financial/social failures.

"Money is like manure; it's not worth a thing unless it's spread around encouraging young things to grow."
- Thornton Wilder

The number one argument for NOT having a kid I think is becuase "they are expensive". That may be true, but the money you save throughout those years can't buy everything. Even with that money that you save - what's left? Buy MORE material posessions trying to fill a void in your life? Now I'm not a prude, I love new shiny things just as much as the next guy, but eventually I know that those kind of things can't keep me happy forever.

On the other hand, marrige isn't for everyone. I know a handful of people that are not married and are happy with the desicion they made, but you are still young. I'd like to see your opinon in 5 years on the topic.

Okay then, say that's true ( ); still, you didn't answer my question; how does the successful minority become so great if they were fvckups?

You need to take some reading classes.

I specifically said, in my original statement, that if you asked most parents about their kids, they would say they are happy to have them and would not have had it any other way. But they only say that because of the attachment involved in having kids, which is completely understandable.

But if you were to somehow get their completely unbias opinion, they probably would regret having kids.

Also, I also said that most pregnancies are UNPLANNED. So most people do not "choose" to have kids.

As for statement #2 of yours, every class of people have kids, but fertility rates for poorer people are much higher, so what does that tell you? Smarter people have less kids.

I have felt the same way as you. I don't know you, but as I grew older my views changed many times. I respect your opinion, but advise you that it is likely to change.

Most people who are successful were merely born with a combination of natural intelligence and natural drive for success.

In my opinion, intelligence, motivation, and many other factors are simply random genetic combinations.

Some people are born to strive for success, others are born lazy. Environment plays a role, but I think genetics moreso.

I believe most people are born with a natural tendancy towards laziness.

Notice how most average people always dream of moving to an island and sitting on a beach all day if they suddenly were to become rich? But notice how most people who are already rich don't sit around all day, they have drive, they continue to work even after they have more money than they could even spend. This is not true for 100% of anyone, only for a majority, so don't give me the "I know a guy" reply.

But I still do not completely understand your question. How are most people "fvckups"?

As long as I stay happy it really doesn't matter if I am married or not, but at the moment I am not married and have no kids and can't imagine my life otherwise again ATM .

How about hairless and clean men, who act like girls? :)

Anyways, it sounds to me that you have a lot of opinions, and not a lot of facts.
