I can be a bigot, it's why we have Trump.

Flagged as a troublemaker? Considering the kind of "trouble" I make amounts to "dragging out the worst degenerates into the sunlight and then beating six shades of crap out of them," I will wear that epithet as a badge of honor.

Well, I know and love some conservative people. I do not consider them insane.

The conservatives that come to this forum are not a particularly good representation with which to judge all. I would also hesitate to call them conservatives. They are something all together different, often including hate and rage. They would say the same of progressives though that is not what I see. I see a lot frustration and a sense of hopelessness that jerko's like to brand intolerant rage among many other trending words. We use these terms as well.

Any way, I will never damn a group of similarly minded people because we are all individuals after all but I will damn words and intentions based on hate, ignorance and intolerance (from my own perspective of course). Empathy only goes so far and I am generous with it. That generosity does not come in to play when the purity of ones words and intentions are heinous. Their backgrounds and stories will never be enough for me to say, I see your point.

Back to the point, it's a mistake to paint all of any specific group of people with one big ass brush ( loaded up with one color or one belief).

The conservative agenda's being pushed in House? I'll hate those all day, every day. The support they're getting is deeply upsetting to me. It does feel at times like hate is winning but it can't, not for long. It's not within us, we just don't have the stamina or true desire to let it stand with any permanence. For us or even them. There will be Collateral damage to contend with but as humans we will thrive and survive it.
That's nice and all but every "conservative" policy requires insanity just to subscribe to it. They may be perfectly sane and even intelligent and thoughtful when it comes to things other than politics, but they're still insane when it comes to this.

Even libertarians, who think they are the best of both worlds, fiscally conservative and socially liberal, subscribe to some of the most insane economic theory.

They're just acting in their rational self-interest so it's hardly insane per se. Only arguably "insane" from the perspective of modern western moral values, which obviously don't apply to many.
