That's the exact reason I stay away from extended batteries these days. They are all massive, and well... no thanks. I don't like carrying around a brick.
usage of the "bricked" term implies that the device no longer works - i.e., dead, inert, like a brick. All extended life batteries have to be larger than the standard - common sense. In a laptop, a 9 cell is bigger than a 6 cell. Logic rules.![]()
btw, there are some batteries that offer slightly increased capacity, maybe an extra 100mAh in the same size. not sure how well they work, but they exist for the g1 and n1, maybe the mytouch as well?
