what he doesnt realize is there are actually hundreds of internal options for boots compared to about three basic ones for tennis shoes. All your tennis shoes will follow the same internal structures and often similar materials, that being mostly foam. you'll never see a triple shank in a shoe, but would be amazed at what more you can do without discomfort using even one shank. not only can you run, but climb, teeter, jump and most importantly, walk and stand all day without the same stress points on your feet that some cheap foam and thin rubber provide.
There is a reason why 3rd party insoles sell so well, tennis shoes are basically just designed for short sport activity, not long walks, standing or anything else. its thin foam and thin rubber with marketing bling behind it.
give it up lxskllr. you don't know how to shop for the right boot, you just bought some boot that fit your feet is what you did, price is irrelvant...some boots are made for specific things, plus your just used to walking in tennis shoes, plus your a stubborn tard.
