I'm no longer amused by you. You were wrong and yet you won't admit it. It's quite sad.

Keysplayer,

1. I am right. I've cited the definition of LOL and of Acronym, both provide indisputable evidence that I am right. Nyah Nyah Nyah Nyah.
2. I know dozens of people using 64bit windows right now. But I don't consider it a very valid arguement, since not many people will buy A64 specifically to change to 64bit windows.
3. Temperature is indeed important. You can spend less on aftermarket cooling for a cooler running processor, A less power hungry processor will result in a slightly less costly power bill, Processor heat can make a considerable difference in your cooling bill in summer months or in warm climates. Cooler running processors are more likely to operate properly without upgraded cooling in warmer climates. There are literally dozens of advantages of a more efficient processor. You simply refuse to see them.
4. I don't tell people to buy amd or intel because of benchmarks. For years I have told people that real world performance is all that matters. It's not a popular opinion to have, but it is part of the reason I am using a 2.26b with a gig of generic memory right now. I could score better benchmarks with my winchester+512megs BH5 easily, but I want a gig of ram and I haven't gotten around to tweaking the winchester rig to operate to my desires with a gig of BH5.

1. Everything is disputable.
2. Sure you do.
3. Power Bill? You simply refuse to see that your grasping and it's not enough to make people care (except you).
4. Not popular, not unique either. You place far to much energy into this that can be better spent somewhere else, I am sure of this.

Oh and last time I checked, acronyms are NOT words. It is the reason they are called acronyms.
Very logical.

For god's sake would you please look up the word acronym in the dictionary? We've been over this before.
A word formed from the initial letters of a name, such as WAC for Women's Army Corps, or by combining initial letters or parts of a series of words, such as radar for radio detecting and ranging.

Next you will be saying that nouns and verbs aren't words because they are called nouns or verbs.

I've proven that an acronym is a word, I've proven that LOL is an acronym, yet because it has multiple definitions (does anyone understand that one?) it isn't a word.

The only things you have proven are in your own mind. You have little, if any, self doubt. Which is admirable under certain circumstances. However, this often backfires when abused as you can see here in this thread. Nobody likes a know-it-all especially when the said individual thinks that he or she truly does, know it all.

And in this case, I do know it all. You have absolutely no way you could possibly refute me. There is no denying that an acronym is in fact a word. Likewise, there is no denying that "LOL" is an acronym. Case closed. You were wrong. Better luck next time.

Oh man, you just blew it big time. You never say those words because nobody can know it all in any field.

Gururu, according to MW's definition of Acronym, LOL is an acronym and an acronym is a word. Are you honestly stupid enough that you still believe you have an argument here?

Yeah, this is getting boring. I know Lithan's type. He will go to eternity and beyond to "prove" something.
It's like I know what he's going to post before I even read it. See you lads later.

Incidentally, "LOL" is found in the revised 10th edition of the oxford english dictionary.

I'm not sure if "Pwned" is though.

Genius, you have to be a member to see oxford english dictionary online. But since you already searched it (according to your earlier post) I'm sure you know that.

Here is a summarization of the page found in Oxford english about the developing of new Abbr. due to text messaging.
