Is it saltier with more umami like the mayo you find on a fast food sandwich? That stuff tastes less eggy too without that fruity aftertaste that some mayos have.

Kewpie mayo or go home
homemade mayo or go . . . not home?

Any ketchup other than Heinz is simply tomato sauce.

Preferably, it's the Heinz ketchup packs from Whataburger. Similar to fountain Coke from McDonalds, they must sprinkly coke in those things.
whataburger ketchup is whataburger's own. it's not heinz.

And Heinz is just sugared tomato sauce so what's your point? (Hunt's is too though, and probably most others.)

As someone else pointed out, Whataburger isn't doing Heinz. And blech, McDonald's fountain is possible the worst of any fast food place (only worse soft drinks I think has been at Chili's where its like McDonalds but with extra bad flavor from their tastes like dipped in bleach glasses and probably never having their fountain cleaned). I figured McDonalds would have been the flagship for the "Freestyle" machines, but apparently not. Even Subway has those (although small ones that are quite limited, not even sure if they have the flavor options like cherry/etc). Their awful drink seletion and their beef flavor has really made McDonalds probably my least favorite burger place (I almost always get breakfast instead on the few times I eat there). In 'n Out isn't far behind (for similar reasons, but its way better value). Thankfully there's a bunch of places down here that have Pepsi (most of the nationwide burger chains have Coke which sucks, but there's a bunch of mom and pop or local chains with Pepsi here), and better burgers to boot (Culver's, better beef, waaaaaaay better cheese, and Pepsi fountain, they also have their own Root Beer; oh and better variety than McDonald's outside of breakfast).

I honestly think Miracle Whips makes a better mayo.
I like it better when making egg and tuna salad as it has a bit sweeter taste.
But then again im not from the country... im from California... so i guess that explains why i like Miracle Whips.

I would actually agree that the tangy flavor of Miracle Whip is better for tuna salad. Mayo for egg salad though.

Funny random side bit. So Heinz passed on an endorsement deal with Patrick Mahomes (who has professed his love for ketchup on all things, and I mean all things, burgers, steaks, mac 'n cheese). Maybe they were still mad about him throwing 6TDs on Heinz Field? Then again, the Hunt family owns the Chiefs (yeah yeah they're not related to the Hunt ketchup brand, but Illuminati!!!!!!!). (Wonder if anybody calls Kareem Hunt "Mayochup"? Probably not to his face unless they want to get kicked or possibly otherwise assaulted.)

He said he really misses Whataburger and loves their ketchup.

Mayonnaise SHOULD NOT HAVE SUGAR. God damn food companies ruining all their mayonnaises by adding sugar. Blech. Fucking nasty. Magnus, supposedly all chef-ey, up there talking about Hellmann's, WHICH HAS FUCKING SUGAR IN IT and should be thrown in the trash and then peed on.

OP's Heinz Seriously Good mayo has sugar in it, so it's SERIOUSLY FUCKING BAD. Fuck off, Heinz. Shut up and stick with your catsup.

The only commercial mayo I can find without sugar around here is Trader Joe's, which is decent.

Duke's > *, plebs.

I've never had or heard of Duke's, but I looked up the ingredients and I'd try it. IT HAS NO SUGAR so it might not suck. Good work on not being completely stupid, Duke's.

Damn. I'm hot and bothered right now. America is failing big time on the mayonnaise front. I'ma write my congresswoman.

Calm down there bucko. Sugar is a flavor enhancer like salt. As long as it's not in a quantity to make the mayo sweet, I have no problem with it.

Upon reading this I went and checked the jar of regular Heinz Mayo I have in the fridge no sugar in it. Its pretty good although I do prefer Hellmans overall.

Mayo is supposed to be "tangy" not sweet!

someone seriously needs to take a break. You are all worked up over some sugar?

Dude, I am diabetic and I am not worried about the sugar as much as you are.

Besides, Heinz mayo is simply the best mayo I have tried. ever.

I decided to give this a try after seeing it on TV numerous times. I have to say this is a very good mayo. Way better than Hellmann's and any other mayo I have tried.

So I will give it 2 thumbs up.

:D
I only buy Heinz tomato ketchup. I've tried many others, they never hold a candle to Heinz. I buy it in giant cans at Costco. Seems to keep forever, but I keep most in the fridge anyway.

I hate mayo, but all the fancy people that know things swear by Duke's.
I don't eat a lot of mayo. I do make my own thousand island dressing from mayo, Heinz ketchup and sweet relish. Good on salads, had some tonight.

I put mayo in tuna salad, along with:

chopped onions
heinz ketchup
sweet relish
chopped celery

Mayo is pretty simple, hard to screw up. I don't remember thinking that any particular mayo was superior to another. I've made my own.

Now, ketchup is a different matter. It all sucks except for Heinz. I will no longer stray.

You are an idiot!!

I mean, that's not very polite, but I don't really have a counterargument on this point so let's move on.

Like I trust an inanimate "smart" watch to run a lab, test mayo, get numbers related to nutrition facts, check the math, have it peer reviewed, buy a web domain, and post the nutrition facts there. That hardly seems likely. :eyeroll:

But I totally trust Kraft Canada to do something similar, and the ingredient list on their site includes "sugar." http://www.kraftcanada.com/brands/heinz-seriously-good-mayo/products :colbert:

And to those that tell me to calm down: no. This bsns is srs.
