I Am Unable To Swallow a Pill

I have problems swallowing pills too. It's purely psychological...my brain doesn't want to swallow something it hasn't chewed.

I took me 1 hr to learn. I twas in 2nd grade. I was offered some incentive (a toy?) to swallow a pill and so I practiced forever and I got it. Awkward at first, but 11 years later I'm a master at it.

My roommate cant swallow pills either so he drops his centrum in a cup of water and then drinks it... I think that's disgusting, but that's just me...

i had the same problem when i was young, i used to chew and swallow it with water. disgusting tastes. :|

now, i'm able to swallow even without water. yay go me! 😛

Practice with something that doesn't taste bad, like corn or peas or M&Ms. Learn to regard pills as part of the liquid you take it with, rather than "food" so that you don't feel like it can't be swallowed without chewing.
