Visiting the in-laws and my mother in law just showed me a signed pic of Bush and his Mrs. that was sent to her.

I don't know about them, but it only cost me the $0.37 I spent on the stamp ;)

Your in-laws are registered republicans?

I bet family get-to-gethers are interesting...

I've pretty successfully converted my father-in-law to the good side. Guess our work may cancel each other out - no?

So you convinced your father-in-law that small government and freedom is good and he's voting libertarian now? ;)

I'd probably vote for Edwards if he won the nomination. I just checked into his foreign policy, and finally a democrat that will go after the terrorists...

yes, yes, no

He just finally realized he actually did have positions on issues and could express them(long story). His positions align him far more with the Republicans than Democrats. Now as to Libertarian - he probably would if they came close to holding similar views to his. The problem currently is that there isn't a Libertarian party that carries itself well. Far too extreme for most folks.
I'd vote Libertarian if they'd find a Conservative Libertarian who can lead that party and help define it better. I'd welcome a "union" of the Republican party and the Libertarians.:D

Almost every one of my family and friends are Republicans. I even have a son who has gone to the Dark Side of The Force, although he told me he was giving Edwards a good look because he doesn't like Bush. (But, since he clerked for a Republican Congressman I doubt he'll stray far from the fold.)

Tolerance really sucks though. Acting out is so much more fun. :)

That might happen, but i think you guys need to stop starting unecessary wars, increasing the government more than democrats and taking away our freedoms before we'd consider that ;)
