I am so screwed...could lose my job for this!

Keeping it brief...

I joined a website to meet people in my new town; started a pretty amazing job but have absolutely no friends in town. (besides M4H of course 😛) So I get messaged by this girl and she has the same last name as one of my coworkers. I ask her if she is related; turns out she's the HR Manager's daughter. This is a very thin management structure so there's 5 of us for 120 ppl, so we are very close and I talk to her mom several times a day.

The HR Manager has also said I am not to meet her daughter as she feels I am trouble... But this was totally not my fault, she messaged me. She wants to show me around town, but for me not to tell her mom...I think she gets off on the sneaking around.

Yikes...this is trouble.

Why does the HR manager think you are trouble?
She hears all my stories from the weekends...

She likes me though, it's more a joke threat...*i think*

Solution: Impregnate her daughter to prove her right. Job security... 😛

There is still room for you if desired

Last time I checked there were at least 20 or 30 women in Canada. Odds are that at least one of them isn't realated to your HR manager. I suggest you find her and leave this other girl alone.

Don't do it behind her back.

90% positive you signed an "at will" agreement which means........at will.

Also, if you are having wild parties all weekend, are you sure you're in desperate need of friends?

You think she could fire you for hanging out with her daughter? Lawsuit, ftw.

Are you still on "probation" at work?

An HR manager knows every single reason in the book to fire someone. It would be very easy for them to find a legitimate excuse.

Boss tells daughter you are off limits so daughter wants you even more. My brain says stay away but my wang says go for it
