I joined a website to meet people in my new town; started a pretty amazing job but have absolutely no friends in town. (besides M4H of course 😛) So I get messaged by this girl and she has the same last name as one of my coworkers. I ask her if she is related; turns out she's the HR Manager's daughter. The fact that the random whims of fate and the intarweb combined to bring you two lovebirds together will mean exactly diddly squat to the HR Manager. You might just be crying "But it wasn't my fault!" all the way to the unemployment office (or canadian equivalent). Or at least find yourself an outcast in what oyu said is a rather small group of coworkers.
