Wow! They bought you the mobo??

What kind of mobo??

When they taught you how to do this did they make you sign the NDA specifying that you're not allowed to divulge the ease of our jobs??? ;)

Its a Biostar M7VKB with a KT133 chipset. And no they didn't, but I can be bought. I am pretty damn cheap too! :D

Wow Doboji, my computer fixed and a new career as a model all in the same day. Who would have thought? ;)

Here I've been thinking you chicks were like supa-geek and it turns out you're only cutting your teeth :(.. anyways CONGRATS GirlFriday, you've taken your first steps towards hardware geekdom! I bet you're glad you didn't crush your core... it's reaaally easy to do :)

Actually, its because of this board I learned how. A year ago, the only thing I knew how to do on a computer to fix something was a scandisk or defrag. Off Topic doesn't generally pull in alot of techies, more the people who just want to talk about non technical issues. And watch out, I am on my way to super geek, slowly but surely..... ;) As for crushing the core, I was terrified of doing that, along with burning out my processor. I know those are two of the big things you have to worry about, and it was on my mind every second. :Q
