I am so proud of myself, I installed my first processor and heatsink tonight. Evan and Adul helped me alot, but a year ago I didn't even know what a heat sink was, so this is a big step. Move over computer experts, I am coming for you, and I know how to run a scan disk too. 😀
 
Shhhhhhh GF, don't tell my wife how easy these computer hardware installs are.... If she finds out, I'll never get sex after "fixing" her computer hardware issues. (Shhhh, sometimes I intentionally cause hardware problems.)

you just changed the processor and heat sink? did you change the Motherboard too? The real pain in the butt is the mobo in my opinion, even though the entire job isn't hard.

The Gods of Hardware always demand a sacrifice! If you don't scrape, cut, bruise, disembowel or otherwise injure yourself installing new hardware, you're bound to have system problems!

Its an AMD Tbird, 900 mhz. And no, they bought me the mobo, the processor and heatsink was my own. 😉
