Please don't be angry. Don't vote for McCain. You care about this country? Do you care about her reputation? McCain has a very similar image as Bush to the world. Remember how thousands of people worldwide gathered up and rallied against Iraq War? Yes, you might have forgotten that. The WORLD wants Obama because he brings hope and against Iraq war. Set aside your hate and other things and use your logic. Which man is going to improve US reputation back? McCain? Name one person who said McCain is going to bring back hope to US and restore? right this guy wants to keep Iraq war going and going for next 100 years right?

My Main Points:
- Set aside your political differences, racial, compromise and let Obama get his seat for at least one term or two to bring back US reputation. Let him end Iraq War, and stabilize our economy. Then you can have your republican.

I know that Obama is not AS experienced as McCain, but in reality new thinking works always better than old thinking. New ideas, its the younger people who create great things, look at google? And dinosour Microsoft? Look at the differences.

What I am saying, let him raise the taxes for people who make over 250K. Let him do what republicans fear, compromise because you going to get your republican most likely after him again.

Thank You!

I'm going to vote for McCain just because you told me not to.

I think I'll do the same. Don't care for either one but your 'Points' show me which is the lesser of two evils.

Thanks.

that line reminded me of the "new economy" in the 90's.

and then I laughed and laughed. 🙂

it's like you're saying Obama is the new pets.com.

You two are joking right? I'm not saying you shouldn't vote for McCain if you honestly believe he is the better candidate, but this sort of justification for your vote is absurd. Both sides have their extremists and should be equally ignored. Not only should you not act like that in response to such things, but joking about it adds fuel to the fire too. Voting is a decision which should not be taken lightly.

i'M VOTING FOR McCAIN B/C HE'S NOT OBABMA. What you guys don't understand the US is the biggest socialist country in the world. Our economy is over 13trillion dollars. the five largest economies in the European union, france UK, germany, italy, and Spain is just even w/ our own. Our ferderal budget is equal to france, Uk and Gemany's individaul GDP. We collect in taxes and pay more out in social beneftis (socail securut, medicare, medicaid, benefits for poor) than these countries collect in taxes( basically half their GDP). We use 25% of the world oil b/c we have 25% of the worlds GDP!!!

If you want our economy/country to grow, expand and continue to influence the rest of the world we need more energy...nuclear, solar, oil/gas, hydrogen... if you want your savings to grow you want more cheap energy....energy is the key to a better future...

The best reason to vote for Obama is that unlike Sid his team will be made up of new faces, not the same old insiders recycled from past Administrations. We already experienced what happens when you have recycled insiders from past Administrations with Bush and the results were disastrous. Unfortunately there's no guarantee that they'll do any better but at least it will be a change and obviously a change is needed.

there are many valid reasons not to vote for McCain.

I don't think the opinions of any foreign country or organization are one of them.

Yep. The "world" isn't electing the President. WE are. Like you say - there are plenty of reasons to not vote for him but the OP didn't hit a single one.

There are more things at stake here than our reputation.

I am voting for McCain.

Why vote for a racist, Marxist wierdo who wants "sex ed" for kindergartners just because some foreigners like him (like Hamas? Ortega?). Europe and UK are starting to wake up to the socialst mess they created and no good reason for the US to go down that way now. McCain is half senile but good people and decent Americans can't really vote for the Dali Bama once they see past the media stealth shield.

Wow.

I'm having a hard time believing that your posts aren't some sort of trolling. I mean, people who think like you don't really exist outside of various compounds dotting the countryside, right?

Anyway, from me to your John Birch compound, deep in the woods -

Obama is half white, has many many white friends, colleagues, and associates, and has never shown evidence that he personally hates anybody due to their skin color. NOTE: Attending Wright's sermons is the flimsiest of evidence that he's a racist.

Marxist? Are you kidding me? I'd love to hear your explanation of specifically how he's a Marxist, but last I heard, he hasn't called for the abolition of private property, has yet to fire up the Red Brigades, and has put forth positions and policies that promote Capitalism. This is all a shrewd ploy to fool the voters into electing him, at which point he'll declare his true beliefs, and usher in the show trials and such as he marches forwards in his mad scheme to turn our country into the U.S.A.R.R.? How do you think he'll accomplish this in the face of universal opposition? I guess the Democrats will all be on board, since they're Marxists in sheep's clothing as well?

What exactly do you think Obama wants in regards to the "sex ed for kindergarteners? Do you think he wants them to be taught sex techniques, how to "fellate your classmate!?, etc.? EskimoSpy has already debunked this absurdity, but I'd love to hear what the "truth" is.

Who do you think Osama Bin Laden would choose as our president, if in his wildest dreams he could pick our Prez? Why do you think he'd pick that person?

Regards,

Jebeelzabub

Absurd, you say. Look at our choices. That's ABSURD!

"Voting is a decision which should not be taken lightly."
When I was a kid I thought the same way. Now, seeing the results after almost 40 years of voting, I realize it is a big crap shoot. The odds favor the house, ya know. 😉

I do too and that's why I'm not voting for Old Sid. After the mess Bush has made of it we don't need more of the same.

I am curious when we had a good reputation? I have been on this earth for 3 decades. Of those 3 decades all I heard about was how our reputation sucked a dink.

That was abroad.

I'm surprised the OP didn't mention the Obama fist bump. McCain doesn't have that kind of hip style.

As if age guaranteed anything. I was told that those who say I wasn't born yesterday often act like they were born today.

i couldnt give a rat ass what the rest of the world thinks about us... I think the problem with this country is we CARE TOO MUCH about the opinion of others. Of course they hate us...until they are invaded or have some natural disaster then its all WHERES AMERICA?? THEY ARE SOO INSENSITIVE TO NOT SEND $$$$$$.

either way you cant win...so F' them

You don't really need to convince anyone. There are very few people I know that will be voting for a third Bush term in November.

I'm voting for McCain. I voted for him in 2000 primaries and I'll vote for him now.

I'm support gun rights and Obama has stated he is for an assault weapon ban, and against concealed carry, which I do.
