No, its not my foreskin, but its the American culture of genital mutilation that led my ignorant, conformist mother to submit her newborn son to be cut. Changing the culture will hopefully save many boys that fate.

Of course I repeat the same thing, because what I'm saying is true. I almost always link to back up what I'm saying and I even find mainstream news articles so people like you can't attack the messenger.

I disagreed with the OP's decision, but I didn't rag on him about it. He's an adult and is free to make his own decisions. The people I was ragging on were those who would perpetuate unnecessary surgery on newborns.

If/when I do have a son, he won't have phimosis at 16 months old. I think it is terrible that you LET your son suffer from phimosis and risk problems when there are safe medical techniques that will stop it. You are the abuser, not I.

There are MANY folks who are uncut and don't have those diseases either. And I think it's terrible that YOU think the only way for your son to have a "safe" way of growing up is to get his penis cut. I'm going to fight tooth and nail to keep my son's penis completely intact (ie, avoid any sort of multilation).
