OK, lock this if it's unallowed, but I don't think it is. I'm wondering, and would like to find out by way of an informal poll, how many people, hypothetically speaking, have at least 1 pirated (copied from a friend, entered in activation key that wasn't purchased, downloaded off of p2p) program on their computer, and how many do not. I am not asking this AT ALL with some kind of pro-piracy initiative, as we know, piracy is responsible for some of the exhorbitant prices of software these days, and that is not a good thing. I also realize, however, that even for people who do not agree with pirating software, sometimes it is just too easy to borrow a disc from a friend than to buy it. So, in an inquisitive and non-subversive spirit, I just thought it would be interesting to find out more about the hypothetical characteristics of the people who make up Anandtech. So, in a hypothetical world, would you say you probably or probably do not have at least 1 program you shouldn't? I'll go first,
Hypothetically speaking, probably yes.
