I give up. I cannot get to the HV settings in BIOS (Windows 10). Kaspersky Total Security is giving me warnings about the setting, but I can't find it.

I now admit that I'm getting old.

Look for VT-X and/or VT-D settings, on Intel platforms,
and AMD-V or AMD-VI or Virtualization on AMD platforms.

  1. Intel refers to it as Execute Disable (XD). This feature must be enabled in the system BIOS.
  2. AMD refers to it as No Execute (NX). This feature must be enabled in the system BIOS.
