1) True, I said I was leaning towards RFK for now, I may still vote to reelect Biden. I believe Biden should have ran in 2016 even after Beau's death, Hillary Clinton was bound to be like Al Gore......Note to Political Parties: No more Bush 41, McCain, Romney, Kerry, Hillary, Gore types....

2)True, Biden needs to see that the economy is really good by May-June. People tune out from politics when the Olympics start and after the Olympics is over it is 2 months to hone in....
RFK is nothing more than the modern day version of George Wallace back in 1968. I am not voting for that guy.

RFK is a right-wing funded anti-vaxer loon. By definition, an anti-vaxer is an anti-science ignorant fool; not the type I'd want in charge of anything. The only thing worse is the fucking "Green Party", who every election does their best to siphon off left-wing votes which helps the one party positively committed to wrecking the environment. Nice going guys.

RFK is in the election to try to do the same. He's the Nader in this election, a walking ego wanting his day in the spotlight. He won't win but he'll have a say in who does. It's backfired a bit, or might, since some polls suggest he might just pull away as many (or more) GOP votes if he does run 3rd party.

All voting 3rd party does is toss away your chance to have a say in who controls the Supreme Court, which is not the only reason but enough of one for me to never even consider it. (not that any 3rd party candidate's positions have ever been an improvement when I've looked at them; Gary Johnson and Hillary were pretty equal in my book as far as pros and cons, so I went with the Democrat instead of tossing my vote in the shitter.)

When I did a stent at the home office in Anaheim CA for a little over 2 years, I had all kinds of preconceptions about OC. I knew that it had been famously conservative, with congress critters like B2 Bob Dorman. Several of the nations defense contractors had facilities all through out OC, of which I was working for one of them. At the same time I was moving into an area where locally (Anaheim) I was in the minority (not being Hispanic). Well, the being a minority thing feeling really disappeared as it just became a non-issue. Learned to love my favorite breakfast place, great service, and prices, and it had mostly Hispanic clientele.
Anyway, Sanchez (D) had recently been elected to the district I was living in, and for the most part the area seemed to have moderated some of it's extreme conservatism. The OC Register was the local rag. It was only useful due to the Fry's ads. Read the LA Times.
I enjoyed the area, for the most part. Too many people packed into one place, but you have no excuse to be bored.
Northern OC and southern OC are basically two different worlds.
In a similar vein, San Diego County used to be a GOP stronghold as well but more recently resembles L.A. County. A Democratic urban core surrounded by conservative suburbs.
