What I posted in this thread had nothing to do with the Clintons, even though deep in the video it does take a 10 second detour mentioning their role (which was redacted in the FBI report).

Barry Seal was drop shipping coke to corrupt county officials as part of the Medillian cartel.

After he was killed by the cartel for being exposed the shipments continued. The boys happened to stumble upon a 2AM shipment and were eventually killed by the cops; their bodies dumped on the tracks to destroy evidence later.

But the whole thing unraveled over time, the county DA went to prison for dealing drugs and six first hand witnesses were all murdered after coming forward...years and years after it happened.

Presumably they could investigate both at the same time. That being said only one was a government official so obviously corruption there is far more important.

What's odd to me about this is your interest in this sort of shady activity dramatically declined from ~January 2017 to ~January 2021, at which point it re-emerged. Why do you think that is? Presumably you would be much, MUCH angrier at corruption by a sitting president than by a president's son so I struggle to understand. Was your computer broken?

From what those reports say the non-release of these reports sounds like just the usual working of the system, according to the rules. Why is this a big deal?

That said, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Hunter Biden had done some dodgy things, to segue his connections into money-making opportunities.

How many such flags did the Trump family trigger, though? At that level of family connections/influence combined with personal dysfunction I would expect they'd almost all be, at a minimum, constantly skirting the edges of what's legal, in pursuit of personal gain. That's what that class of people do.

I feel like maybe it used to be otherwise. Was there not a time when politicians lived relatively modest lifestyles and their children did not expect to become rich?

I suspect it's due to the way the overclass has pulled away from everyone else, and the political classes - who have a lot of contact with that overclass, compared to the rest of us - end up desperate to join them.

Actually I’m pretty sure trump was involved in multiple scams/scandals before he was elected including charity fraud, his fake university fraud, and his bribing of Pam bondi for exceptions to his Florida property. If people didn’t recognize trump for what he was, a con man, it’s because they didn’t want to.
